One of the features of the Amana MBVC Air Handler is that it is ComfortNet Communications System compatible. The ComfortNet thermostat has a full-color touch screen display. This display makes it so simple and easy to see your settings and make adjustments as needed. You will be able to program a schedule with ease. Taking the simplicity to another level, you can customize the screen to best suit your needs as well. ComfortNet also lets you view the outdoor temperature and to see a history of any changes made to your system over time.

Other Residential Air Handler Features

The engineers at Amana have also equipped the MBVC Air Handler with a variable speed ECM blower motor that provides gradual startup and shutdown that allows the unit to operate quietly. This quiet operation helps make the unit be more energy efficient as well. Standard efficiency motors have a wide range of operating speeds which make them more expensive to operate. You will be able to save money with the MBVC Air Handler. The unit has a low-speed operation that is constant that allows for amazing filtration and maximum comfort level.
This unit also comes with an all-aluminum coil, factory-mounted expansion valve (TXV), SmartFrame Sub-Structure; auto configuration of the airflow and tonnage in communicating mode; and provides constant CFM over a wide range of static pressure conditions independent of duct system CFM indicator. Amana also backs the MVBC Air Handler with a 10-Year Parts Limited Warranty on all functional parts.
