For heating, ventilation and air conditioning, the acronym is HVAC. The HVAC system can be compromised from any faulty components. With this in mind, we at Air Supply Heating and Air Conditioning would like to discuss the basic components that comprise an HVAC system.

Thermostat

Usually mounted on the wall on the main level of your home, this component is the most recognized among homeowners as it is the small device and this allows you dictate the heating or cooling system and set temperatures. For more and more features, there are many models to choose from standard basic models, to programmable models, to even smart models. To maximize your cost and energy efficiency as well, ensure you have the appropriate temperature settings for the various hours of the days

Furnace

In Vegas homes furnace takes a good deal space is either in the utility closet or garage, and homes that feature basements, that’s usually where it is located. For producing heat for the home, it is an important appliance as it is primarily responsible. From the combustion chamber, heat exchanger adds heat to the incoming air. Where furnaces are more commonly used for heating, some people confuse the furnace and boiler, but they are separate appliances.

Central Air Conditioner

Working in pairs, there is typically two air conditioner units that include an outdoor unit, which is located just outside the home, or sometimes on the roof, and the inside unit is usually situated in the attic space.
Evaporator Coil. Cycling through the evaporator coil to absorb the heat that passes from the air going over it, the refrigerant is a fluid chemical that contributes to the cooling process. Throughout your home, the now, cold air is dispersed from there.
Condensing Unit. Though it gives off heat unlike the evaporator, it exchanges the heat with the air that passes over it similarly to the evaporator coil for the outdoor unit.
Refrigerant Tubes. The indoor and outdoor HVAC units is connected by the refrigerant tubes, which are metal tubes attached to the evaporator coil with the condensing coil. Under a range of temperatures, they are constructed to withhold the and cycle the refrigerant.

Air Ducts

Generally, in the attic space, the air ducts are the funneling system that permits the treated air to travel through and be dispersed into the various rooms within your room. To ensure all the rooms get delivered with warm or cooled air accordingly and to contribute to the indoor air quality, the airduct design plays an important role.

Vents

Where the treated air is delivered from the airducts is the vent openings. Usually on the ceilings, vents are the rectangular covering that warm or cool air comes through.
